1. These Terms set out the conditions on which MACS Learning Lab Academy (the “Company”) provides the MACS Food & Science website, enquiry service, classes, programmes for organisations and related services (the “Services”).

2. A quotation, application, order screen or separate written agreement may contain specific terms. Those specific terms prevail if they conflict with these Terms. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

1. Programme descriptions, dates, materials, expected outcomes, images and prices on the website are general information. Until the Company expressly accepts an application or confirms payment, they are invitations to enquire or negotiate and are not binding offers.

2. An enquiry, newsletter request or kit pre-registration confirms receipt only. It does not reserve a place, complete a purchase, guarantee availability or create a delivery commitment.

3. A class or institutional programme contract is formed when the Company or the business taking the booking accepts the application. The Company may accept, decline or request more information after considering capacity, scheduling, operational and safety requirements, service territory and the accuracy of the application.

4. The website does not currently take direct payment. If direct sales begin, the order screen will state the price, payment method, supply timing, cancellation and refund terms, and other information required by applicable law.

1. The Company publishes these Terms where users can readily access them.

2. The Company may amend the Terms to reflect changes in law, the Services or operations.

3. Revised Terms apply from the effective date posted with them. The Company will follow any advance-notice or consent procedure required by law for a material adverse change to an ongoing paid Service. A legal requirement, urgent security measure or change favourable to users may take effect immediately where appropriate.

4. Unless otherwise agreed, a paid contract already formed remains subject to the terms in effect when it was made.

1. Users must provide accurate and current information and must not use another person’s identity or authority.

2. A legal representative or properly authorised guardian must make decisions that require authority for a minor participant, including applications, safety disclosures and image consent.

3. A person enquiring or contracting for an organisation represents that they have authority to bind that organisation.

4. A user is responsible, to the extent caused by that user, for delay, safety risk or additional cost resulting from material information that is inaccurate or omitted.

1. The Company may reasonably change an instructor, sequence, experiment or cooking ingredient, learning material, room layout or delivery method while preserving the overall educational purpose and quality.

2. The Company may reschedule, combine, postpone or cancel a programme because of enrolment levels, instructor or venue availability, ingredient supply, public health conditions, weather, official measures or safety requirements. The Company will give advance notice of a material change where reasonably practicable.

3. If the Company cancels a paid programme or a material change prevents participation, the Company will provide the refund, replacement session or other remedy required by the applicable contract and law.

4. The Company may temporarily suspend or change website functions for maintenance, improvement or security response.

1. A guardian must accurately disclose a participant’s age, allergies, dietary restrictions, health precautions and information needed for an emergency response during the application process. The Company does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment.

2. Participants and guardians must follow reasonable safety and hygiene directions from the Company, instructors and venue operator. The Company may require guardian attendance or substitute an ingredient or activity for safe and orderly delivery.

3. If a participant creates a material risk or seriously disrupts a class and does not comply with a reasonable request to correct the conduct, the Company may restrict or end participation. Any refund may reflect services already delivered and actual non-recoverable costs to the extent allowed by law.

4. An allergen-free environment and complete prevention of cross-contact are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed by the Company in writing. A guardian must assess suitability and prepare necessary safeguards for a serious allergy or medical risk.

1. For a class paid directly to the Company, cancellation and refund rights follow the conditions disclosed at booking and any mandatory consumer law that applies to the user.

2. If a user cancels, the Company may deduct the value of Services already supplied, actual non-recoverable material, venue, shipping or similar costs, and a cancellation charge disclosed in the specific contract, to the extent permitted by law.

3. For events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, epidemic measures, government action, venue closure and transport or communications failure, the Company may first offer a substitute date, modified Service or delayed performance. Any part that cannot be performed will be settled under the applicable contract and law.

4. Where a culture centre or another independent business takes the booking and payment, its terms and applicable law govern transaction refunds.

1. A quotation or separate agreement sets the scope, date, attendance, fee, cancellation terms, deliverables and allocation of responsibilities for an institutional programme.

2. The institution must arrange a suitable venue and facilities, participant recruitment authority, guardian permissions, accurate attendance, age and safety information, and enough staff for on-site order. The Company may pause, modify or end delivery if those requirements are not met or safe delivery is not reasonably possible.

3. If the institution changes an agreed scope, the Company may adjust fees and timing to reflect additional staff, materials, transport, venue costs and schedule effects.

4. If the institution causes cancellation or delay, the Company may charge for work completed and actual non-recoverable costs as allowed by the agreement and applicable law.

1. A culture centre, booking or payment provider, social platform, map service or external form provided in the third party’s own name is governed by that third party’s terms and privacy notice.

2. The Company may provide external links for convenience but does not warrant the availability, price, accuracy or transaction performance of a service independently supplied by a third party.

3. When the Company appoints a provider to process data on its behalf, the Company’s responsibilities are governed by the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

1. Users must not:

(a) submit false information, impersonate another person or apply without authority;

(b) compromise security or normal operation, or send automated or excessive requests;

(c) infringe intellectual property, privacy, reputation or other rights;

(d) record another identifiable participant without permission or publish their information; or

(e) copy or sell programme materials, or use them to create a competing course, dataset or artificial intelligence model.

2. Depending on the seriousness and urgency of a breach, the Company may remove content, block requests, restrict participation, terminate a contract or pursue legal remedies. Where no urgent safety or security issue exists, the Company will ordinarily give a reason and a reasonable opportunity to correct a remediable breach.

1. Rights in programme structures, missions, experiments, recipes, worksheets, teaching materials, marks, logos and website content created by the Company belong to the Company or the relevant rights holder.

2. Users receive a limited, personal and non-commercial permission to use materials for the purpose for which they are supplied. Without written permission, users may not reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, adapt, deliver commercial teaching from or give the materials to a third party.

3. For an infringement, the Company may require cessation, removal and return, and may recover proven loss and reasonable enforcement costs to the extent permitted by law.

1. Users must hold the rights needed for enquiries, reviews, suggestions and other material they submit. Users allow the Company to store, copy and share that material internally as needed to respond, supply the Services, handle disputes and comply with law.

2. The Company may block or remove unlawful material, rights-infringing content, malware, spam or repeated submissions.

3. The Company obtains separate consent before using identifiable participant images, video or testimonials for promotion. Declining optional consent does not restrict class participation.

4. The Company may use statistics and feedback that no longer identify an individual to analyse and improve the Services.

1. Unless law provides an exception, the Company sends promotional information about classes, kits, events and offers only to recipients who have opted in.

2. Marketing consent is optional and declining it does not prevent an enquiry or use of the Services.

3. A recipient may withdraw consent at any time through the method in a message or by contacting the Company. The Company follows applicable identification, timing and consent-record requirements.

1. The Company may restrict use or terminate a contract if a user materially breaches these Terms or law, or creates an immediate safety or security risk.

2. For a remediable breach, the Company may require correction within a reasonable time. If the breach is repeated or not corrected, the Company may end the contract and settle lawful costs and loss.

3. If the Company ends a Service for business reasons, it will perform existing paid contracts or settle the unperformed part as required by applicable law.

1. The Company supplies programmes with reasonable care and skill but does not guarantee a particular learning, admission, examination, preference, health, nutrition or business outcome.

2. The Company is not responsible for loss caused without its fault by an event beyond reasonable control, a user’s omitted information or failure to follow instructions, an independently supplied third-party service, or the user’s device or communications environment.

3. To the extent permitted by law, the Company is liable only for direct and reasonably foreseeable actual loss caused by its breach. For a business or institutional customer, the Company’s aggregate liability is capped at the amount actually paid to the Company for the programme giving rise to the claim.

4. Nothing in this Article excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, a personal-data breach, or liability that mandatory law does not allow to be limited.

1. These Terms and the Services are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. This does not remove mandatory consumer protections available in a consumer’s country of residence.

2. The parties will first try to resolve a dispute in good faith. A consumer may bring a claim in any court available under mandatory law. For a business or institutional customer, the Seoul Central District Court has exclusive jurisdiction, unless the separate agreement states otherwise.

3. The Company may send Service notices to a user’s supplied email address or telephone number, publish them on the website, or use another reasonable electronic method. Users must keep their contact details current.

These Terms take effect on September 10, 2026.
